Information Technology - SAP Security Specialist

About the Role
Join a leading-edge IT team as an SAP Security Specialist focused on SAP GRC Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) engineering and administration. Drive the design, integration, and optimization of robust compliance monitoring solutions that safeguard critical business processes. This pivotal role offers exposure to advanced SAP landscapes, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to lead transformative GRC initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Architect, configure, and maintain SAP GRC CCM rules, data sources, and monitoring plans
- Translate business requirements into technical deliverables using proven engineering methodologies
- Integrate CCM with SAP source systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, MDG, GTS, Ariba, SuccessFactors) and non-SAP data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, flat files)
- Develop and test business rule logic using SAP BRFplus and CCM rule editor; manage rule versioning and change control
- Configure alert thresholds, escalation paths, and automated remediation workflows; integrate alerts with ServiceNow, Remedy, and other ticketing systems
- Design and deliver dashboards, KPI visualizations, and compliance reports via SAP Analytics Cloud, Lumira, or Power BI
- Map CCM controls to SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and industry audit frameworks
- Monitor CCM jobs, diagnose failures, resolve incidents, and proactively improve control environments
- Lead CCM implementation or upgrade projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Create clear documentation and deliver training for business owners, auditors, and end-users
Required Skills and Experience
- Deep expertise in SAP GRC CCM architecture, configuration, and data model
- Strong background in SAP integration (RFC, OData, SAP Extraction Framework) and data services
- Proficient in rule development, unit/integration testing, and workflow automation
- Experience with SAP Business Rules Framework (BRFplus), SAP Analytics, and dashboard/reporting tools
- Advanced knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
- Familiarity with SAP Basis landscape, transport management, and security authorizations
- Competency in ABAP, PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting for automation
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration
- Exposure to SAP Focused Build, Solution Manager
- Knowledge of SAP PFCG roles and advanced performance tuning
- Familiarity with audit-ready reporting and sensitive access risk mapping
