Salary:

We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Systems Engineerto join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex IT environments for a diverse client base. You will handle advanced escalations, mentor junior engineers, drive standardization, and contribute to continuous service improvement across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Technical Support & Escalations
  • Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex incidents across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues across multi-site or multi-tenant environments.
  • Project Delivery & Architecture
  • Lead or participate in client projects including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, security enhancements, and new technology rollouts.
  • Design scalable, secure, and standardized solutions aligned with MSP best practices.
  • Client Engagement & Consultation
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor during QBRs, strategy sessions, and project scoping.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions that meet client goals.
  • Infrastructure Management
  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, networking gear, and cloud services.
  • Manage backup/DR systems, patching processes, and security tools to ensure compliance and uptime.
  • Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and configuration standards.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to monitoring, automation, and service efficiency.
  • Mentorship & Leadership
  • Provide guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to junior and mid-level engineers.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in an MSP or multi-client IT service environment.
  • Expert-level knowledge in several of the following:
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Azure / Microsoft 365 administration
  • Hyper-V
  • Networking (firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs)
  • Backup and disaster recovery technologies
  • Security tools (EDR, MFA, identity management, email filtering)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience leading IT projects from planning to delivery.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell preferred).
  • Experience with RMM/PSA tools
