Job Title: Senior Information Systems Project Manager Location: Cary, IL Type: Contract Compensation: $66.66/hr Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan.
  • Direct, manage, monitor, and control project activities to ensure objectives are met.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs within the project and collaborate with stakeholders to develop, manage, and own project scope.
  • Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure and develop/maintain project Gantt chart.
  • Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and milestones; own the project schedule.
  • Monitor and manage project costs within budget by partnering with cross-functional managers.
  • Develop project Quality Plans and monitor compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop mitigation strategies for project risks.
  • Plan and coordinate procurement activities and select vendors as needed.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for project team members.
  • Develop stakeholder management and communication plans.
  • Lead end-to-end lifecycle of PLM replacement, ensuring minimal disruption and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee system validation, data migration, and system integration efforts.
  • Manage implementation of the MasterControl PLM system aligned with business requirements.
  • Ensure updates to Quality Management System procedures reflect new PLM workflows.
  • Coordinate migration and integration efforts for data and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards during project execution.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing and manage Computer System Validation lifecycle.
  • Serve as primary liaison among business, IT, vendors, and external partners.
  • Present project status updates to leadership; manage change and training activities.
  • Manage vendor performance and mitigate vendor-related risks.
  • Build effective relationships, understand quality systems, and drive results in a regulated environment.
Requirements
  • BS or equivalent & 6+ years of relevant work experience
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience leading enterprise system implementations (PLM, ERP, MES)
  • Experience managing data migration from legacy systems
  • Strong understanding of system integration between PLM and MES systems
  • Deep knowledge of GxP system validations
  • Experience delivering projects in regulated environments (FDA, ISO, SOX)
  • Excellent project management skills including planning and risk management
  • Strong leadership and accountability for project outcomes
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, including reporting to executives
  • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and diverse priorities
  • Collaborative, results-driven approach focused on operational continuity
