The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a student to work alongside our Technical Analyst as support for ongoing and new IT projects, and to help manage our access databases.

The successful candidate should have basic computer skills, experience in troubleshooting hardware and software, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Student should have a familiarity with iPad and iPhone devices and with setting up printers and HDTVs. This student must be able to interact with and clearly communicate with students, faculty and staff in aprofessional manner. Key attributes of a student in this position are ability to learn, a commitment to long-term growth in the position, and a desire to be of assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting students, faculty, and staff with computer-related troubleshooting
  • Providing general technical guidance, assistance, and maintenance support to end users, as requested, on diverse software applications, operating systems, and hardware systems
  • Setting up and imaging new computer systems and peripherals
  • Inventory management for all department assets
