Role Purpose:
The Senior IT Strategic Partner position is a key role in service delivery offering to our clients. This position works closely with the client to understand their business needs and how technology can help them best achieve their needs. The IT Strategic Partner also works closely with internal teams to ensure the client is aligned with best practice standards through technical business reviews and infrastructure improvement projects. The overall goal of this role is to help clients decrease business risk, decrease downtime, and increase productivity.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic partner for clients, building strong relationships and providing guidance, strategic consultation, and account management support.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for client decision-makers and leadership, including engaging as a leader in incident response and outages.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with client decision-makers.
  • Lead the IT strategic planning process, fostering innovation, planning projects, and negotiating resource allocation.
  • Assist the client in the creation of common IT governance and strategic planning documents and reports (ie. IT Strategic Plan, Business Impact Analysis, Disaster Recovery Plan, Business Continuity Plan, Incident Response Plan, IT Policy Manual) and review these documents with the client annually.
  • Provide support and oversight for the continuous delivery of IT services, review service level agreements with clients, and monitor IT systems performance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for clients to leverage new technologies and drive business value through IT.
  • Educate clients on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for clients.
  • Communicate IT risks to stakeholders, ensuring regulatory and cybersecurity compliance across all projects and services.
  • Support or manage vendor relationships and annual vendor audits.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets, aligning them with client goals and objectives, and forecast, track, and report on client IT spend and budget both internally and externally.
  • Develop and implement strategic IT initiatives that align with the client's business objectives and the company's best practices.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for client decision-makers and leadership, including engaging as a leader in incident response and outages.
  • Use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ITSM, RMM, and other tools to collect data and corresponding reports for both internal and client facing activities.
