Description
The Program Manager/Director will be responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide contractual and project team oversight
  • Serve as WCLLC's primary point of contact to the client. Interact with the client to understand program requirements, timelines, resources available, and existing assets to leverage
  • Subcontractor Management
  • Collaborate with the client and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
  • Provide full support for all contract matters relating to daily scope of responsibilities
  • Track deadlines, deliverables, resources, action items, and timelines throughout project lifecycle
  • Conduct risk analysis for identified and anticipated project risks and lead risk avoidance or mitigation strategies to minimize project impact
  • IT Project deliverables
  • Engage with the client to understand program requirements and timelines
  • Manage deadlines, deliverables, resources, action items, and timelines throughout projects
  • Identify dependencies and issues or roadblocks and make sure they are known, owned, and mitigated
  • Establish reporting standards and provide visibility on the status and health of the projects within the portfolio, as well as progress against proposed milestones
  • Review and approve project team work to ensure adherence to scope, quality, and productivity expectations and implement additional processes or reviews as needed to address systemic or recurring issues
  • Source, develop and retain highly qualified talent
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
  • BA/BS degree/Masters Preferred (Information Technology focus Preferred)
  • Scrum Certification Preferred
  • PMP certification required
  • Minimum of five (5) of relevant experience managing federal IT. programs, projects, operations, services, and teams in matrix environments
  • Experience managing large projects and developing reports
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills; Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience balancing multiple projects with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing events and competing priorities
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Client account management and business development experience
  • Advanced MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience working with federal agencies required
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Employment background investigation required
