Position Overview:

As part of a cross-functional team focused on complex problem solving, you will be integral to identifying solutions to transform day-to-day operations.  As a key member of the IT Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO), you will direct and coordinate the utilization of cross-functional project resources to reach targets, while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and scope.   You will be collaborating with key business stakeholders to understand and document current processes, utilize systems thinking to identify areas of improvement and champion new processes that increase quality, productivity, and efficiency.  You are process oriented and analytical, but comfortable with ambiguity due to the ever-changing environment.  You should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills as well as adept problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish, oversee, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements
  • Manage the intake and communication of requests coming into and from internal business unit and functional customers and other project teams
  • Ensure all projects have a timeline, budget, and scope and are monitored and reported on throughout the lifetime of the project
  • Develop visualizations for metrics, key performance indicators, and data solutions to ensure decisions are informed and data driven.
  • Implementing document control policies and documentation templates.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
  • Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies.

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

Experience Required: 

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree 5+ years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of soliciting requirements, documenting problem statements, and communicating to leadership and technical teams
  • Knowledge and experience creating metrics to accurately measure quality, performance, production, safety and/or schedules
  • Ability to identify, document, and communicate data and/or process gaps
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Demonstrated history of leading successful operations data-driven projects
  • Ability to work in a dynamic rapidly changing environment where priorities can shift quickly
