Senior IT Project Manager - Cyber Security


Your New Company

Our client is a leading North American energy organization delivering a portfolio of high-priority Enterprise Security initiatives focused on strengthening cyber resilience, governance, and risk management.


Your New Role

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead multiple cyber security projects with critical year-end delivery timelines. You will oversee a mix of technical cyber initiatives, security program deliverables, and stakeholder engagement activities within the Enterprise Security team.

This role will assume ownership of active projects while driving several newly initiated efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with cyber security teams, business stakeholders, and physical security partners to ensure successful execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent cyber security projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Lead technical security initiatives, including penetration testing and security assessments.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, risks, issues, and project reporting.
  • Support projects with capital and operating budgets of approximately $500K.
  • Develop communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Drive change management activities where required.
  • Coordinate across cyber security, physical security, technology, and business teams.
  • Provide executive-level status reporting and project updates.
  • Ensure successful delivery of key security initiatives before year-end.


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering cyber security projects or programs.
  • Strong project governance, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
