Summary
HII's Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.
You'll oversee and drive technology projects from kickoff through completion, making sure each initiative stays on track, meets requirements, and delivers high quality outcomes.
In this role, you'll turn business objectives into actionable project plans, coordinate cross functional teams, and guide execution using established project management practices.
Your work will include partnering with stakeholders to clarify needs, building project schedules and resource plans, and maintaining thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle.
You'll facilitate team discussions, monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and provide timely updates to leaders and contributors.
You may also assist with solution design, support vendor interactions, and help ensure new technology solutions are properly tested, deployed, and transitioned smoothly into ongoing operations.

What you will do
  • You will lead and coordinate technology projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations. In this role, you translate business goals into structured project plans, manage cross functional teams, and drive execution using established project management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Key responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, developing project schedules and resource plans, and maintaining clear documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • You will facilitate project meetings, track progress, manage risks and issues, and communicate status to leadership and team members.
  • You may also support solution design activities, assist with vendor coordination, and ensure successful testing, deployment, and transition of new technology capabilities into operations.

What we are looking for
  • 6+ years of IT Project Management experience on both Agile and Waterfall projects.
  • Proven ability tracking milestones, dependencies, tasks, and levels of effort.
  • Experience eliciting and documenting functional and technical requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start. Candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a CI poly.
  • Must meet DoD 8140/CSWF for 802-Intermedediate or be willing to obtain the appropriate credential within 6 months

Level Qualifications
  • Information Systems Project Management 2: High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Information Systems Project Management 3: 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Information Systems Project Management 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Information Systems Project Management 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with ServiceNow Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) module
  • PMP certification or similar associate-level project management credential.
  • ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification . Advanced ITIL training or certifications.
  • Formal training or certification in agile methodologies, e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban.
