Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Project Execution & Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle of Azure and M365 deployment projects from initiation through closeout. Ensure tasks are completed on schedule and meet business requirements. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business leadership, technical teams, and vendors to ensure project alignment and maintain effective communication throughout the project. 
  • Change Support: Support change management efforts by coordinating training, end-user communications, and feedback collection to support adoption. 
  • Vendor Coordination: Oversee vendor related tasks, ensuring they meet project goals and contract requirements. 
  • Technical Coordination: Work alongside deployment engineers, technicians, and other technical staff to ensure implementations align with scope and technical specifications. 
  • Proof of Concept & Pilot Support: Coordinate and assist with technical proof of concept initiatives and pilot rollouts to validate project plans. 
  • Status Reporting: Provide regular project status updates, including milestones, risks, issues, and budget tracking, to stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Risk & Issue Tracking: Identify project risks and issues, document mitigation plans, and escalate concerns as needed to leadership. 

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Preferred Certifications: CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant Azure/M365 certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or M365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate. 

EXPERIENCE 

  • Project Management: At least 4-6 years of project management experience, including large-scale IT deployment projects. 
  • Microsoft Azure & M365: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure and M365 implementations, focusing on cross-functional deployments. 
  • Vendor Management: Proven experience in vendor management and coordination. 

KNOWLEDGE  

  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or similar tools). 
  • Change Management Basics: Familiarity with change management processes and support activities. 
  • Cloud Concepts: Understanding of cloud technologies and principles, particularly Azure and M365 services. 
  • Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of IT compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC-2, ISO 27001). 
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Passion for staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
