Our client is a highly respected labor and employment law firm known for delivering exceptional legal services to organizations nationwide. With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence, they are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support technology initiatives tied to their corporate office environments.

This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a project management professional who has experience leading workplace technology projects, including office relocations, expansions, renovations, and new site deployments. The successful candidate will partner closely with IT teams, Facilities, Real Estate, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are planned, implemented, and delivered successfully.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage IT projects supporting office openings, relocations, expansions, consolidations, and renovations
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, charters, requirements, timelines, risk assessments, and change logs
  • Track project progress, milestones, resources, and assignments using Jira or similar project management tools
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage technology deployments involving network infrastructure, telecommunications, Wi-Fi, audiovisual systems, and workplace technology
  • Support conference room technology implementations and end-user technology rollouts
  • Create project timelines that align with construction schedules, occupancy dates, and business requirements
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to IT leadership and key stakeholders
  • Identify potential roadblocks and provide solutions to keep projects moving forward
  • Assist with PMO development and promote project management best practices

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • 6+ years of experience managing complex IT projects from planning through completion
  • Proven experience supporting facilities-related technology initiatives, including office moves and workplace deployments
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, telecommunications, audiovisual systems, and end-user technology
  • Experience partnering with Facilities, Real Estate teams, architects, contractors, and third-party vendors
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies, including traditional waterfall approaches
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business partners
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications
