Ready to be a leader with the company that is committed to pushing the limits of truly advanced technologies? At General Dynamics Mission Systems, we create the products and services that help our service members, intelligence analysts and first responders keep our nation safe. The work we do is so advanced, it’s often classified. If you want to put your talent in the spotlight, it’s waiting for you right now, right here.
We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers’ missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.
In our fast-evolving environment, you will lead a team responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and effective technology services that enable employee productivity and collaboration across the organization. This role manages the planning, delivery, support, and continuous improvement of workplace technology capabilities, including end-user computing, collaboration tools, conferencing technologies, productivity applications, and related service-management processes. The manager partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, cybersecurity, and vendors to ensure services align with organizational priorities, customer needs, security requirements, and operational objectives.

The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership for technical personnel, establish team priorities, allocate resources, monitor service performance, and ensure timely resolution of operational issues. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining service and hardware roadmaps, managing projects and initiatives, tracking budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve employee experience through process improvements, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and self-service solutions. The manager will use operational data, customer feedback, and service metrics to drive measurable improvements in service quality, availability, adoption, and cost effectiveness.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, along with a working knowledge of end-user services, IT service management, workplace collaboration technologies, and modern productivity platforms. The Workforce Productivity Manager will foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused team environment while ensuring delivery of scalable, compliant, and supportable technology solutions.  In this role, you will also encourage employee development by fostering continuous learning, providing coaching and training opportunities, and ensuring team members remain current on emerging technologies, service-delivery practices, and evolving customer needs.

15-20% travel will be required.

What you’ll experience:
  • Technologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often top-secret
  • A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next
  • Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it’s discovered
What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent experience plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, projects, or operational services in an IT, end-user services, digital workplace, or workforce productivity environment.
  • Experience with one or more workplace technology domains, such as end-user computing, collaboration platforms, conferencing, productivity applications, or IT service management.
  • Strong understanding of service delivery, incident and problem management, change management, and continuous-improvement practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, resolve complex issues, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams, business functions, leadership levels, and external vendors.
What sets you apart:
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience identifying or implementing automation, AI-enabled workflows, self-service capabilities, or process-improvement initiatives.
  • Solid skills managing technology vendors, budgets, problem solving and cost analysis.
  • Experience supporting a regulated, security-conscious, or large enterprise environment.
  • Experience in developing technology roadmaps
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
