Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Under the updated Competency-Based Qualification Standard for the IT Management Series (2210), applicants must:
  1. Meet or exceed all required competencies at the minimum proficiency level for the GS-9 grade(s), as described below; AND
  2. Have the required specialized experience for the GS-07 and/or GS-9 grade(s), as described below.
You may be considered ineligible and removed from further consideration for the position, if you fail to meet any of the criteria above.
For the GS-7:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

To qualify at the GS-07 level, you must possess specialized experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in Federal service providing information technology concepts, methods, standards and practices as they relate to automated Litigation Support functions, i.e., trial preparation and presentation; providing information technology customer service and installing and maintaining litigation support hardware and software
AND
COMPETENCIES- The following competencies are required:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Interpersonal Skills - Shows understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, concern, and politeness to others; develops and maintains effective relationships with others; may include effectively dealing with individuals who are difficult, hostile, or distressed; relates well to people from varied backgrounds and different situations.
4. Reasoning - Identifies rules, principles, or relationships that explain facts, data, or other information; analyzes information and makes correct inferences or draws accurate conclusions.
5. Teamwork - Encourages and facilitates cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity; fosters commitment and team spirit; works with others to achieve goals
For the GS-9

To qualify at the GS-9 level, you must possess specialized experience:At least ONE full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in Federal service providing Information Technology concepts, methods, standards and practices as they relate to automated Litigation Support functions, i.e., trial preparation and presentation; installing, configuring and maintaining specialized software and hardware systems in a professional environment, and developing and managing Litigation Support systems that meet current and future needs.
AND
COMPETENCIES- The following competencies are required:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
