Position Summary
The IT Operations Analyst applies in-depth knowledge to independently manage the OhioRISE IT (Information Technology) Service Management desk, in order to ensure timely resolution and high satisfaction rates from external/internal stakeholders, as well as state regulatory bodies. This person handles incident management, direct issue resolution, and data analysis. The IT Operations Analyst also collaborates with technical teams to transform IT Service Management using high levels of automation.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Under limited supervision, investigates and resolves complex technical issues, providing support and guidance to team members.
  • Analyzes complex system performance data to identify potential bottlenecks or performance issues, in an effort to ensure industry-proven best practices are instilled within the team's strategies and end product offerings.
  • Coordinates responses to IT incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize IT processes and areas for improvement, as well as implements best practices to transform IT from a reactive to a strategic service.
  • Conducts routine risk assessments, while developing strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Communicates with different stakeholders to plan, test, and implement changes to IT systems, evaluating and mitigating potential risks.
  • Completes reports for management, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Under limited supervision, ensures adherence to security policies by conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of IT Operations when assisting with capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience working in relational databases.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time, specifically within New Albany, Ohio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Resides in Ohio.
  • Strong problem solving, problem tracking, and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) and workflow automation tools.
  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) 4 Foundation Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work successfully in an independent, self-driven setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree and/or specialized training, or equivalent work experience (high school diploma or GED + 4 years of relevant experience).

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
