Omega Solutions, Inc. is a company seeking to fill the role of IT NOC Engineer. The primary responsibilities include providing technical support, problem-solving, and collaborating with team members to ensure effective operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• In your previous role, you have exhibited passion for technology and problem solving. You have outstanding interpersonal skills, evidenced by customer success focused decisions and solutions.
• You have some or are exposed to commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of technical administration and learning to resolve basic issues following written procedures.
• You are learning the functionalities of commonly used tools, systems and processes required to accomplish your job. Work tasks are mainly completed based off written procedures and processes.
• You participate in team meetings, accept assignments willingly and escalate issues in a timely fashion. You strive to meet defined operational goals set between yourself and your manager. You may be asked to help onboard new members of team.
• You generally interact with internal customers for your service and strive to deliver world class support experience.
• You collaborate with your members of the IT NOC team for general problem solving. You follow existing standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles to meet your operational goals.
• You are familar with IT support processes within the TechForce organization and understand how these relate to you and your role.
• You participate in collaborative discussions, and understand the output, help the IT NOC team arrive at a consensus.

Required:
• 4 year college degree (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).You may have just graduated from college or graduate school with a technical degree, or have 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Theoretical knowledge of LAN, WAN and server OS technologies
• Ability to efficiently read technical documentation
• Ability to triage simple networks and servers issues
• Ability to identify OS performance based on built in tools
• Ability to describe incident status based on user reports and performed triage
• Perform network/systems changes following SOP
