Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: Secret Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Job Description: The Contractor shall provide information operation support, consisting of support and maintenance of server, workstation and network operating systems. The Contractor shall provide helpdesk support for MARCENT CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED data services. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * The Contractor shall manage storage, network, voice/video service hardware, software and maintain the integrity of software and services. Provide senior level planning, scheduling, testing and coordination for installation of upgrades and track service dependencies. * Coordinate and work closely with Marine Corps Cyber Operations Group, and CENTCOM J6 to maintain and troubleshoot service outages. * Troubleshoot and resolve problems as required and serve as one of the highest levels of escalation for service and security issues within MARCENT. * Write and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and desktop procedures. * Contractor shall provide help desk services on a professional basis and clearly explain the status of the ticket order to the requestor. * Helpdesk services shall cover the core hours of 0600 to 1800 Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays). Required Qualifications * DoD IAT Level 1 or above (or SEC+); CISCO Voice/Video certification * Microsoft Operating System certification * 8+ years' experience in service IT MOS and help desk functions (performing and leading), managing storage, network, voice/video service hardware, software, and maintaining the integrity of software and services * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Current passport and be willing to travel and work OCONUS Education Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent Security Clearance Requirements: * Secret Physical, Work Environment & Conditions: (please update) * Typical office environment: * Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods. * Occasional standing while working in server rooms or at patch panels. * Must be able to lift and move moderately heavy equipment (e.g., routers, switches, servers) typically up to 30-50 pounds. * Manual Dexterity required for connecting cables, configuring devices, and handling small tools or components. * Must be able to view computer screens for long periods. * Ability to distinguish color-coded cabling and indicator lights. * Must be able to climb ladders or crawl in tight spaces for cable runs or equipment installation. * May require walking between different buildings or workstations. * Must be able to communicate clearly with technical teams and end-users. * May need to hear alarms, server beeps, or equipment noises indicating issues This position description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with this job.
