GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Director, IT - Marketing Technology is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing a team of managers, technical leads, architect, business analysts, and providing leadership and direction.

We are looking for an experienced Director for Marketing Technology systems to lead the strategy, delivery, and governance of our Marketing IT portfolio. This leader will be responsible for building and managing a cross-functional technology delivery team to implement and operate Marketing Technology solutions.

The IT Director will serve as the IT partner to Marketing, and Customer Experience leaders, while managing vendor/ SI relationships and ensuring delivery of value to the business.

The base salary range for this role is $132,100 - $249,100. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Lead the Marketing IT delivery team (ex - Sr. Delivery Manager, Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Business Analyst, and additional supporting resources).
    Help define and own the Marketing IT roadmap aligned to enterprise architecture, digital strategy, and business priorities.
    Oversee delivery and operations of MarTech initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams - Marketing, Customer Experience, Data & Analytics, Stores, IT and Security teams to deliver seamless solutions.
    Manage program budgets, forecasts, and reporting. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
    Establish governance, metrics, and reporting for program execution.
    Manage vendor relationships. Lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor performance reviews.
    Provide oversight of solution design and maintain a focus on quality, compliance, and customer privacy.
    Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
    Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI/GenAI for marketing and drive pilots and adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree is a plus.
    10-15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 7 years in Marketing Technology and Retail IT.
    Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional MarTech implementations
    Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance practices.
    Demonstrated IT leadership skills and experience. Experience of managing a team with up to 5 direct reports.
    Experience working in Retail is preferred.
    Demonstrated success in vendor/SI management and large-scale program delivery.
    Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships at all levels of the organization.
    Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
    Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
    Adaptability and agility to manage rapid change in business needs, processes, or technologies.
    People management skills including talent development, coaching, mentoring, and team motivation.
    Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
    Certifications (preferred but not required) - PMP, SAFe/Agile Program Mgmt, Marketing platforms, Privacy, etc.

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. 
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc. 
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.  
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work. #LI-Hybrid
