Position Summary
Imperial Construction is seeking an IT Manager to support and improve the technology systems that keep our office and field teams connected, productive, and secure. This role is responsible for day-to-day IT operations, user support, business systems coordination, and practical technology improvements that support project execution and company growth.
This is a hands-on role that works closely with operations leadership, project teams, HR, risk management, and our Managed Service Provider (MSP). The right candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting daily issues while also helping improve workflows, standardize systems, and support long-term technology planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day IT operations for office and field teams
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and Managed Service Providers
  • Support Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, ERP/construction software, and user access
  • Assist with cybersecurity practices, backups, and system reliability
  • Support jobsite connectivity, temporary field office setups, and field technology needs
  • Help improve workflows through technology and automation tools
  • Coordinate technology upgrades, hardware deployment, and system improvements
  • Provide user training and practical support for non-technical employees
  • Travel to jobsites as needed for setup, troubleshooting, and support

Qualifications
  • Experience managing IT operations in a business environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and endpoint support
  • Experience coordinating with external IT vendors or MSPs
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
