Job description

Position: Full Time IT Analyst

Facility: Ripley’s Attractions, Myrtle Beach

Reports to: IT Manager

Job Purpose: IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time IT Specialist to join our team. This candidate will be self-driven, quick learner, and have solid technical skills. Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Specialist is responsible for assisting with technology needs by performing software installations, setting up personal computers along with point of sale systems.  The IT Specialist will work under the direction of the IT Manager to support the day to day operations of the Ripley’s attractions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

•    Must possess a well-rounded set of information technology skills.

•    Be able to support client PC’s, printers, Point of Sale (POS) computers, and assigned help desk tickets.

•    Install, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various end user software (ex; Windows, MS Office Suite, Adobe)

•     Maintain turnstiles, arcade games, security cameras, and audio equipment

•    Manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

•    Other job duties assigned by Manager.

•    1-3 years relevant IT experience

Requirements: 

•    Hands on computer experience.

•    Knowledge of PC hardware, windows 7 Pro operating system, and POS equipment

•    Ability to troubleshoot and work remotely 

•    Must be a details-oriented person.

•    Understanding of configuration changes and their up/downstream impacts.

•    Analytical and problem-solving skills.  

•    Excellent oral and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills.

•    Self-start and ability to work under general direction and the ability to follow directions when given. 

•    Participation in the on-call support rotation will be required.
