Enterprise IT Project Manager (Healthcare/Medicaid)
Overview / Summary
HTC is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager Consultant to manage multiple IT projects under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role will support high-priority initiatives, working closely with business units, management teams, and vendors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a complex, change-oriented environment and possess strong project management experience within a healthcare insurance IT setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with developing business requirements.
  • Build project plans and execute according to those plans.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and risk triggers.
  • Ensure project deliverables and activities are completed with high quality and in a timely manner.
  • Provide project status updates and communicate project strategies both orally and in writing.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, portfolio/program plans, metrics, reports, and project management documentation.
  • Collaborate with staff, management, internal teams, external organizations, and vendors.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the business and projects being managed beyond project scheduling activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Manage multiple high-profile, high-priority projects simultaneously.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Strong background in project management within a healthcare insurance information technology environment.
  • Project planning experience, including effort estimation on technical tasks and resource allocation.
  • Experience working with SharePoint and project management tools, including Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Experience with risk management, including identifying risk triggers and managing project risks.
  • Ability to create and document key project management artifacts and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Ability and willingness to engage effectively with people and organizations.
  • Ability to bring together stakeholders with diverse and competing interests.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems.
  • Experience with Medicaid or other healthcare claims systems IT projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI certification.
