As a Project Coordinator, you will be working on exciting infrastructure driven projects for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Responsibilities:

Tracking and understanding documentation deliverables for multiple small IT projects

Gather documentation from the customer

Assist with or manage the oversight of all aspects of project life cycle to include initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing; taking project through final implementation

Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders

Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Excel

General understanding of project scope, and objectives

Basic understanding of project team roles and functions to effectively assist in coordinating activities/tasks

Follow best practices and ensure that requirements are met and documented

Document project risks, assumptions, and constraints and aid in implementing approved actions and workarounds designed to mitigate project risk events

Monitor status of all identified risks in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project

Financial management of project budgets to ensure all budgets, forecasts and costs are measured, tracked and reported for project success

Use appropriate tools and techniques to identify and quantify variances

Document measurement criteria for success with the help of Project Managers or other Leads

Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs

Ensure that all issues are captured, resolved and that resolutions are documented and communicated

Actively participate and/or lead project meetings, and follow up on action items.

Provide input regularly for status reports including program portfolio reviews

Assume responsibility and coordination for a wide variety of project and/or program related tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of IT Project Coordination/Project Management experience required
  • Experience supporting external customers in a professional services and/or managed services environment
  • Exposure to Infrastructure technology projects and project management
  • Experience working as an IT project coordinator or similar role
  • Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, SharePoint, Smartsheet and Outlook
  • Experience with Multisite hardware deployments
  • Experience with MS Project
  • Experience with financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports
  • Understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines
  • Experience with T-scheduling for planning, monitoring, and controlling of project timelines, making sure projects are completed on time & within budget
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate well with customers and co-workers (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Strong team building skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $51,600.00 to $64,500.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
