Summary:
The IT Desktop Support II position is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance the workstations as assigned. They will be required to be able to perform duties including the installation of software or upgrades, installation of hardware or hardware components and assisting the customer with various computing duties to include the support of mobile devices. The Analyst II will be able to assist the customer with more difficult tasks, problems or issues. The Analyst II will work with other analysts or team members to assist with any troubleshooting or problem determination. The Analyst II will be assigned more complex tasks and duties. The team member should be able to identify possible cost saving measures and bring them to management attention as relevant including solutions. They should be comfortable utilizing the problem tracking system including and assisting others in assignment, workload and workflows. Works on assignments that are semi-routine where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives supervision on work and processes with detailed instructions for new assignments. On-call rotation is a requirement of the position. Experience working in Information Systems, preferably in the health care industry. The Analyst II will be required to do other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent is required, Associate's degree preferred. Two years IT experience preferred or three or more years IT work experience is required if no degree.
