Support Operations Officer (SOO)
Location: Chantilly, VA
Work Type: Full Time
Position Overview: We are hiring Support Operations Officers (SOOs) to provide critical operational and administrative support on a full-time client site near Chantilly, VA. This role requires expertise in client processes, systems, and operational communications, including cable writing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to ongoing and planned missions
  • Draft, edit, and manage operational cables and documentation
  • Utilize client systems and processes to track and support operations
  • Coordinate across operational teams to ensure mission alignment
  • Support planning and execution of field activities
  • Adapt to evolving operational requirements in a startup-like environment
Required Qualifications
  • Current Full Scope Polygraph clearance
  • Proven experience with client processes, systems, and cable writing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated teamwork and independent execution capabilities

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $100,000-220,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
Benefits: Gridiron offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), disability & ADD insurance, life and pet insurance to eligible employees. Full-time and part-time employees working at least 30 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Gridiron's benefits programs.
