Job description

We are seeking a Cabling Technician to work in the healthcare department.
This position is travel all across east coast to client locations
An individual in this role will need to be comfortable working with life sustaining devices within a hospital setting.
Job Duties:
-Installation and testing of hardware devices and associated cabling
-Troubleshoot problems and determine repair techniques
-Complete accurate and timely paperwork for inventory return/repair
-Maintain system programming records and databases
-Design and write system configurations and databases
-Be a liaison with the Sales Department
-Maintain and update service manuals
-Communicate with manufacturers and technical support
-Carry pager to respond to emergency service during non-work hours as required
-Conduct truck and warehouse inventories when directed.
-Install and maintain software in various types of server environments
Minimum Qualifications:
* Formal electronics and/or technical training, degrees and/or certifications preferred.
* Must have a basic understanding of IP networking and Microsoft server environments
* Must be able to climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds
* Must be able to work in sterile medical environments and in confined spaces
* Demonstrated ability to operate power tools
* Demonstrated ability to pull cable and terminate devices
* Demonstrated ability to interpret architectural blue prints and schematics
* Demonstrated ability to common IT language and terms
* Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers and project managers regarding project status
* Demonstrated ability to work independently
* Must be able to work flexible hours and off shift when necessary
* Valid PA driver"s license and good driving record required
* Must pass Criminal Records check, Child Abuse check, drug free workplace testing, Mantoux TB Test
