Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to support a Government Client by managing the lifecycle of IT assets and supporting enterprise asset management operations. The successful candidate will oversee inventory accountability, equipment provisioning, onboarding and offboarding support, asset tracking, wireless device management, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure accurate asset records and timely delivery of IT services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the Service Request Module (SRM) in the Remedy System on a daily basis.
  • Monitor the Service Delivery Mailbox and respond to asset management requests.
  • Set up workspaces with IT equipment for onboarding employees.
  • Request creation of new Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS) accounts for onboarding personnel.
  • Ensure departing employees return all assigned IT assets during the offboarding process.
  • Issue IT assets to employees in accordance with organizational requirements.
  • Package and ship IT assets to regional offices as needed.
  • Update the Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS) to reflect newly acquired, relocated, excessed, or recovered assets.
  • Track the movement and accountability of IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Assist with transferring assets between storage locations.
  • Configure and troubleshoot iPhones, MiFi devices, and other end-user mobile equipment.
  • Place orders for new or replacement mobile devices.
  • Maintain inventory of phone cases, accessories, and wireless equipment.
  • Update wireless device inventories within SAMS to ensure accurate records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and Tableau to analyze inventory information, prepare reports, and support management decisions.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience conducting analytical and support activities related to IT asset management or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience supporting related technical activities.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience developing or supporting Statements of Work (SOWs) or similar technical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
  • Ability to read, interpret, utilize, and comply with management policies, regulations, and directives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience maintaining IT inventory records and supporting enterprise asset management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using the Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS).
  • Experience supporting Remedy Service Request Module (SRM) or similar IT service management platforms.
  • Experience supporting IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT asset inventories.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting mobile devices, including iPhones and MiFi devices.
  • Experience using Tableau for reporting and data visualization.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government IT operations.
