Job Description

This position will be dedicated to the support of disaster recovery/continuity of operations related activities/tasks as it relates to the CBMS/PEAK systems.ย  The candidate will be required to develop Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations Plans, and define exercises/testing of the plans.ย  The state will be responsible for providing the candidate with the business impact analysis and system back-up and recovery plans

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

15 or more years of hands on experience managing programs in the K12 sector.

3 or more years of experience managing data privacy or information security programs (e.g. training, policy development, process improvement, auditing, management, etc.) within a State Education Agency (SEA).

ย Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data privacy policies, practices and associated challenges.

Strong oral and written communication skills and experience in the development and/or delivery of adult education.

ย Demonstrated experience in working with a broad cross-section of stakeholders.

Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate.

ย Familiarity with specific SEA challenges around data privacy and security.

Demonstrated understanding and experience in K12 industry is required.
