Drawing upon the relationships AJC has nurtured since its initial visits to Morocco in the 1950s, and expanded since the Madrid Peace Conference of 1991, AJC pursues programs across three principal sectors: diplomacy, business, and civil society. AJC actively promotes U.S. commitment to Israel's security and its full integration in the Middle East and North Africa, regional business collaboration, and interfaith dialogue to advance Israeli-Arab understanding

This holistic approach, combined with AJC's global architecture-with 15 international posts, including offices in Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi, and a range of government contacts and communal partners around the world-uniquely positions the Center to advance AJC's policy and institutional agendas. Your Impact This position makes an impact at AJC by playing a key role in executing assignments impacting a specific department or functional area; may lead significant projects or mentor/train others. Works with light supervision to solve routine and moderately complex problems and make routine and moderately complex decisions. Incumbents serve the strategic and administrative needs of the assigned department by planning and implementing a variety of programs, projects, initiatives, and events that advance AJC's mission and advocacy efforts.

Senior Associates are responsible for executing strategies, goals, and objectives, cultivating relationships and corresponding with strategic contacts, coordinating events and meetings, and completing research, reporting, and other administrative tasks. Your Role Support and manage programs, projects, initiatives, events, meetings, and/or missions Contribute to the development and execution of the department's strategy, goals, objectives, and action plans Assist with development efforts, including participation in fundraising initiatives and plans, donor outreach, providing materials for grant applications and reports, and related activities Maintain and manage programmatic spending for the initiatives they work on Research, monitor, and report on developments, issues, and trends impacting the department and AJC priorities Prepare and communicate pre-and post-meeting information and materials (e.g., agendas, briefing, background, biographies, follow-up) Coordinate and attend meetings Participate in internal collaboration, information-sharing, and communication Develop relationships with relevant external stakeholders and organizations Communicate and correspond with internal and external stakeholders Draft, edit, and disseminate resources and communication materials (e.g., correspondence, briefings, reports, newsletters, bulletins, website content, social media, and other materials) The Senior Associate for the Center for a New Middle East (CNME) works closely with the Assistant Director, the Director of Middle East and North Africa Initiatives/Deputy Director of CNME, and the Vice President of the Center for a New Middle East to support and manage high-level programs and strategic initiatives. The Senior Associate collaborates with CNME colleagues in Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi and plays a leading role in coordinating major events with relevant AJC departments

In this role, the Senior Associate helps ensure that AJC programming remains innovative, strategic, and effective in a dynamic and evolving regional environment. Additional responsibilities include preparing briefing papers, managing relationships with key contacts across Washington, and supporting the development and execution of policy and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-motivated, and team-oriented professional with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects and working collaboratively across teams and regions.

Compensation The salary for this position is $55,000 to $68,000 depending on relevant experience and location.
