Quality Manager
Location: Columbus, Indiana
Salary: $90,000โ$120,000 Depending on Experience
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality operations at its Columbus, Indiana facility.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will spend time on the manufacturing floor supporting production, quality systems, suppliers, customers, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead plant quality operations and quality personnel
- Maintain ISO quality systems and support IATF 16949 requirements
- Manage customer, supplier, and production quality
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Oversee audits, calibration, documentation, and nonconforming materials
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with operations and manufacturing leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing quality leadership experience
- ISO quality systems experience required
- IATF 16949 experience preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with customer quality, supplier quality, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
