FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.

Position Summary

Fidelity Manufacturing is seeking a Corporate Quality Manager to lead and strengthen our quality function across multiple locations. This role is responsible for quality team leadership, inspection discipline, ISO audit management, quality reporting, root cause problem solving, corrective action follow-through, and continued development of a proactive quality system.

The Corporate Quality Manager will work closely with all departments, and Executive Leadership to ensure quality is built into the process. This position requires a leader who can develop people, use data to identify risk, improve quality systems, and help the company continue scaling with consistency and discipline.

This role will also help identify, evaluate, and implement a full digital Quality Management System to improve visibility, reporting, corrective action tracking, audit readiness, document control, and long-term quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the quality team across company locations.
  • Set clear expectations for inspectors and quality support roles.
  • Ensure inspections are timely, consistent, well-documented, and aligned with company and customer requirements.
  • Maintain and improve quality KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Identify recurring defects, quality trends, and areas requiring proactive focus.
  • Lead and train root cause analysis, 5 Why reviews, corrective actions, and follow-up verification.
  • Partner with Production to improve in-process quality and reduce end-of-line issues.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory, Service, and Training to resolve quality concerns at the source.
  • Manage ISO audit preparation, surveillance audits, recertification, internal audits, and future quality-related certifications. Ensure ISO readiness throughout the year.
  • Design and lead department audits.
  • Manage document control discipline, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and quality records.
  • Lead the identification and implementation, and ownership of a digital QMS platform.
  • Support supplier quality visibility, DMR processes, containment, disposition, and supplier corrective actions.
  • Use quality data to predict areas of risk and recommend focused action before problems grow.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on quality leader who understands manufacturing, inspection processes, ISO systems, corrective action, team development, and cross-functional problem solving. This person must be comfortable working on the production floor, communicating with department leaders, and turning quality data into practical action.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of Quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5 years of ownership of ISO quality management systems with the support of leadership.
  • Experience with audits, corrective action, root cause analysis, and quality reporting.
  • Ability to build practical systems, not just create paperwork and bottlenecks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with digital QMS systems preferred.
  • Experience with supplier quality, DMR/nonconforming material processes, or multi-site quality support preferred.
