This position reports to the VP of Business Development. He/ She will lead customer sales/support, including pricing evaluation, proposal development, pipeline development, market trend analysis, contract review, and conflict resolution

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities as an Account Manager:  

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue and customer satisfaction across assigned sectors.
  • Understand and communicate machining capabilities including CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis operations.
  • Navigate regulatory and compliance requirements specific to DoD and medical labware manufacturing.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue targeted outreach within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Process and facilitate RFQ's with team members to provide viable quotes for new business.
  • Oversees inventory, LTAs, and VMI and is responsible for managing client relationships while ensuring accurate stock levels,    maintaining long-term contract compliance, and optimizing vendor-managed replenishment process. 

Qualifications of an Account Manager:

  • Previous account management experience in precision machining or advanced manufacturing.
  • Proven success managing accounts in aerospace, defense (DoW), and/or medical labware sectors.
  • Strong understanding of AS9100, ITAR, and other relevant standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, DoW contracts, or related field preferred.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. All applicants must be "U.S. persons" within the meaning of ITAR, as defined: a U.S. Citizen, a lawful permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.
