Senior Sourcing Specialist - Procurement
The Senior Sourcing Specialist leads and supports strategic sourcing initiatives that help optimize spend, strengthen supplier partnerships, and deliver value across the business. In this role, you'll leverage data, market intelligence, and supplier relationships to influence sourcing strategies, support key negotiations, and improve total cost of ownership. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Risk, Safety, and Operations to align procurement strategies with business priorities. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy combining analytical problem-solving with relationship management and have a track record of driving results through strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships.
What You'll Do
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple spend categories, developing sourcing strategies that optimize costs, enhance supplier performance, mitigate risk, and create business value.
  • Conduct supplier and market assessments to identify opportunities, inform category strategies, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze spend data, market trends, supplier performance, and procurement metrics to uncover sourcing opportunities and support strategic decisions.
  • Develop reporting and insights that drive savings, improve procurement effectiveness, and support business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, RFI/RFP development, bid analysis, negotiations, and supplier selection.
  • Support contract implementation and supplier relationship management to ensure strong performance, compliance, and long-term value.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Risk, Safety, and Operations to align sourcing strategies and commercial agreements with business priorities.
  • Advance procurement best practices, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.

What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related business function.
  • Experience leading sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.
  • Strategic sourcing, category management, and contract management experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience using enterprise business systems, including SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Fieldglass.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced English communication skills.

Bonus Points If You Have the Following
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional procurement or supply chain certifications such as: SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional), MCIPS, CPSM, APSM, or CPSD through ISM
  • Additional experience with procurement analytics, supplier performance management, and strategic category planning.
