Job description

Island Operating is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Account Manager to grow and manage customer relationships throughout the Midland/Odessa area. This position is an important part of our sales team and will focus on developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow Island Operating’s presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Midland/Odessa market.
  • Make regular customer visits and maintain a strong presence in the field.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and work to close new business.
  • Manage accounts from initial contact through ongoing customer service and relationship development.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive responsive, reliable service.
  • Monitor market conditions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales information and consistently follow up on leads and opportunities.
  • Represent Island Operating professionally and build a strong reputation within the local market.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, relationship-driven salesperson who enjoys being in front of customers and has the ability to develop long-term business relationships. Experience in sales, account management, oil and gas, industrial services, or a related field is a plus.

We are open to candidates who live outside the area as long as they understand and are comfortable with the travel required to consistently service customers and develop business in the Midland/Odessa market.
The right candidate should view being in the field and meeting customers face-to-face as an important part of building successful, long-term relationships.
