Full Charge Bookkeeper


Reputable, well-respected, electronic manufacturing test and support company, in business for over 20 years, and providing specialized electronic and precision service, repair, calibration, and maintenance for a wide range of manual and automated in‐circuit test systems has an opportunity for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper.

Reporting to the president, in this role, you will be responsible for precisely reviewing and maintaining accuracy of all record keeping functions, monitoring cash flow and liquidity, maintaining and managing our books with extreme attention to detail, and determining strategic forward-thinking processes for improvement.

If you are an experienced and organized bookkeeper with verifiable expertise in QuickBooks Desktop, and can meticulously manage all bookkeeping functions without errors, while proactively determining innovative efficient solutions and value-added services, we want to hear from you.


Essential responsibilities


  • Complete hands-on responsibility for the bookkeeping functions
  • Timely Invoicing
  • Ensure that all progress billings are accurate and submitted within payment application requirements
  • Reviewing income statements
  • Processing of AR/AP and collections activities
  • Processing payroll and ability to track job activities
  • Financial Analysis and reporting
  • Responsibility for maintaining cash management systems
  • Maintaining compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Bank statement reconciliations
  • Preparation of financial reports and taxes
  • Ensuring the administrative and data entry functions are completed
  • Other functions as directed by management


Essential Qualifications


  • Three (3) to five (5) plus years of extensive bookkeeping experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive and verifiable expertise with QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Must have proven knowledge AP/AR, payroll, cash management, and record keeping functions.
  • Experience producing Monthly Financial Statements (Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements). Must follow GAAP.
  • Expertise in accounts Reconciliation monthly, bank reconciliation, budgeting, Forecasting, P & L.
  • Sound knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel management, recruitment, training, compensation, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Well-organized and proficient in office administration and clerical procedures.
