Job description

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) has a part-time Registered Nurse opening with our Lotus Grace program in Cambridge, MN. This position will work within a 24/7 Residential Crisis Stabilization (RCS) and Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) team to implement treatment plans and services that enable the service recipient to develop and enhance psychiatric stability, personal and emotional adjustment and independent living and community skills.

This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week, with shifts occurring Monday through Friday. Flexibility in scheduling is required to support program operations and meet the needs of service recipients and staff. Salary: $38.00-$40.00/hr

The mission at Lotus Grace is to assist in addressing mental health in our community by providing services aimed to meet the immediate support needs of people experiencing mental health crises in a licensed residential setting. You will oversee the provision of health services, medication administration, and medication storage for people receiving services through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Duties will include reviewing and approving health service and medication policies and procedures and providing monitoring, health services training, and support to staff. For this position, you will need: To pass a post-offer background and MVR check A valid driver's license with no restrictions To possess a current Minnesota RN license with a preference given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience working with people with various disabilities. You will also need to meet one of the following Mental Health Practitioner qualification requirements: Have at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and 2000 hours of experience with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities; or Have at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related field and have completed a practicum or internship that focused on behavioral sciences or related field that required direct interaction with individuals served; or Have 4000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities; or Have 2000 hours of experience providing services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, traumatic brain injury, or developmental disabilities and receive treatment supervision at least once per week until obtaining 4000 hours of experience; or Have a master's or other graduate degree in a behavioral sciences or related field.
