Job description

Role: Regulatory Data Transformation PM
Location is New York, NY. this is onsite job from day 1.
 
 
We are looking for a qualified Project Manager to support either of the following two areas:
a) use case execution, each of which includes 4 milestones (requirement gathering, implementing data governance on required critical data elements, solutioning prioritized data issues, and evidencing adoption in a sustainable manner). Support Use Cases as either a data consumer (provide requirements, consume data) or data provider (respond to requirements). Provide change management and execution support across a variety of use cases, including Finance (Liquidity, Prudential Reporting, Capital Planning (CCAR/QMMF), International Reg Reporting, IRRBB), Operations, Loans and Banking.
b) Project manage the creation of Working Groups, provide guidance to Business and Function Domain teams on Domain Playbook during operationalization to ensure consistency, preparation of Governance Meeting Materials, Status Reporting and RAID Logs across Working Groups, driving resolution of RAID Logs items across Working Groups, consolidating implementation plans and resolving dependencies between Data Domain activities, e.g., CDE identification, Data Lineage, Consumer Requirements, etc., development of RBCM closure documentation for Domain Standup
Responsibilities
• Lead cross functional coordination routines to ensure appropriate progress against milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies.
• Embed with delivery teams to provide effective program management, reporting and escalation (as needed) of, including: a. Progress tracking b. Risk, Issue, Decision tracking c. Use Case RAG reporting and coordination into relevant program governance forums d. Cross Use Case dependency monitoring e. Facilitate weekly execution review meetings with all stakeholders f. Metrics and Reporting – develop and produce daily dashboards with progress on CDE governance & remediation/solutioning.
• Escalate at risk and off-track deliverables and ensure resolution, RAID management.
• Work with senior stakeholders to collect required data/information from the team.
• Articulate data/information in executive level PowerPoints.
• Perform various coordination tasks such as scheduling meetings, updating trackers along with administrative duties, like project/program documentation, meeting notes, timeline tracking etc.
• Manage and/or participate in various stages of end-to-end Project life cycle
• Basic data and/or logical analysis, as needed.
 
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Resources ideally with Data Management experience in large financial institutions, combined with experience project managing enterprise-wide programs.
• Strong project management discipline, Global Regulatory Reporting Transformation, GSIB Data Transformation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, relevant product / functional knowledge (e.g., for Finance: liquidity, capital, prudential reporting; for Risk: Operational Risk, etc)
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Good leadership capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Relationship building / Influencing skills.
• Any Bachelor's/master’s degree
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience in Waterfall and Agile projects.
• Knowledge of MS Projects, SharePoint.
• Good understanding of Consumer/Personal Banking Products like Credit Cards, Mortgages, Loans etc.
