Lead One of New Jersey's Premier Irish Pubs

Shannon Rose Irish Pub, part of Doherty Enterprises, is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead one of New Jersey's most recognized Irish pub destinations.

This is more than a restaurant management role. We're looking for a passionate leader who thrives in a high-energy environment where exceptional food, an outstanding bar program, live entertainment, private events, and memorable guest experiences all come together.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all day-to-day restaurant and bar operations
  • Build, coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing management team
  • Drive an exceptional guest experience and create loyal repeat guests
  • Manage financial performance, including sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and profitability
  • Recruit, train, and retain top hospitality talent
  • Ensure execution of food safety, sanitation, and company standards
  • Oversee scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and operational controls
  • Partner with Marketing and Operations to drive community engagement, special events, promotions, and entertainment
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and guest-first culture

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Strong bar and beverage operations experience
  • Proven leadership with experience developing management teams
  • Solid understanding of P&L management and restaurant financials
  • Experience leading restaurants with annual sales of $5M+
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
Preferred Experience
  • Irish pub, tavern, sports bar, upscale casual, or entertainment-driven restaurant experience
  • Experience managing live music, private events, or banquet business
  • Wine, beer, and spirits knowledge is a plus
