Job description

Job Summary:
Position is part time and hours range from 16 to 32 hours per week.  Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as the theatre schedule requires. 
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Maintain cleanliness of all IAC spaces including theatre, dressing rooms, classrooms & offices.
  • Sweep and mop lobby/back of house floors and staircases.
  • Vacuum Office and other carpeted areas.
  • Clean mirrors, glass and windows and stainless steel.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rest rooms.
  • Maintain sidewalk cleanliness.
  • Clean spills.
  • Empty trash.
  • Place trash on the curb on the designated evenings
  • Assist in room setups for classes & special events.
  • Locking up and setting the alarm at the end of the night for both the 726 & 553 buildings.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Experience and Education:
  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalency is preferred.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in the above-mentioned duties.
  • Work in a performance space is a plus.
