Job description

100% - Assist with Developing Institutional Impact by Infusing KU IRISE Virtues into Environment at KU and Expand Opportunities to Explore Character Building in Undergraduate Curricular and Co-curricular Activities
  • Attend student organization and staff workshops to be held during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 (2 workshops per semester).
  • Assist student organizations and Greek life organizations with IRISE virtues programming.
  • Assist in organizing and judging competitions.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining an IRISE Virtues Project website.
  • Maintain an IRISE Virtues social media presence.
  • Manage an IRISE Virtues poster/banner presence.
,KU recently announced funding by a special grant from the Educating Character Initiative at Wake Forest University, "Character Development at the University of Kansas: The IRISE Virtues Initiative." This project advances and expands IRISE Culture Charter and is an ongoing effort to articulate and instill the values and virtues of the KU community and how its members engage with one another. 
As part of this initiative, two students will be hired as IRISE Virtues Fellows.
