Belvoir, VA ◦ San Diego, CA ◦ Tracy, CA ◦ Ft Sam Houston, TX ◦ Philadelphia, PA Job Description: • Technician: ◦ Operates under general supervision to support the development, implementation, and sustainment of technical solutions for Audio Visual, Video Telepresence, Digital Signage, and Internet Protocol Television (AV/VTC/DS/IPTV) systems. Collaborates with vendors, manufacturers, and Government stakeholders to assist with troubleshooting, installation, integration, and configuration of system components, ensuring technically accurate solutions and timely issue resolution. Provides technical recommendations and analytical support for IT solution design, implementation, and lifecycle optimization, while interpreting complex technical requirements and translating them into feasible, mission-aligned implementation strategies. Conducts feasibility studies, gap analyses, and performance assessments to identify improvement opportunities, and supports the definition, documentation, and enhancement of business processes through reengineering initiatives and capability forecasting aligned with industry best practices. • Engineer: ◦ Designs, installs, integrates, and supports Audio Visual, Video Telepresence, Digital Signage, and Internet Protocol Television (AV/VTC/DS/IPTV) systems across assigned service areas. Serves as a technical lead for AV engineering activities supporting executive and mission-critical conference environments, ensuring systems meet operational and performance requirements. Installs and tests AV cabling, equipment racks, displays, speakers, and associated hardware; reads and interprets technical drawings and schematics; and performs system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance. Provides engineering support for AV system modernization, room design, and integration of multi-vendor equipment, and travels as required to support installations, upgrades, and augmentation activities across operational zones, including work within classified environments when required. Qualifications (Must Haves): • Experience: 5+ years' experience with Crestron, Cisco, Biamp/AMX, Extron, Dual classification Video conferencing solutions. • Certifications (Preferred): ◦ AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification ◦ Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification ◦ AVIXA CTS Certification Technical Expertise: • Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV related cable. • Have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, and hardware, and software. Clearance: • Active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility is a plus).
