Job description

At Automated Cleaning Technologies, we specialize in high-quality stainless-steel fabrication, delivering exceptional machinery for clients in aerospace, manufacturing, military, and energy sectors. We are seeking skilled Metal Fabricators and Welders to join our dedicated team, where your expertise will drive on-time production of durable metal skids, tanks, and system components that exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, fit-up, and assemble stainless steel, steel, and aluminum components per project specifications
  • Interpret and build to AWS weld symbols and drawings accurately
  • Perform LASER, TIG, and MIG welding in various positions
  • Receive, measure, and verify CNC laser cut and formed parts
  • Operate and maintain fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
  • Conduct self-quality checks and obtain supervisor approvals
  • Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed daily and weekly project deadlines
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Work up to 50-hour weeks with a positive and can-do attitude

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication and welding in high-production environments
  • Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques; ability to pass site TIG test
  • Ability to learn LASER welding techniques to meet fabrication speed requirements
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, tools, and safety standards
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varied environments
  • Pass a hands-on welding test in our factory prior to job offer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with stainless steel weldment fit-up and producing exactly what the drawing requires
  • Familiarity with IPG laser and Miller welding machines
  • Previous work in food service manufacturing, aerospace, military, or energy sector fabrication preferred
