Position Summary

Oak View Group is seeking a creative, dynamic Digital Marketing Coordinator with marketing and communications experience to help drive strategic vision and implementation of digital marketing strategy for the Iowa Events Center, which includes Casey's Center. The preferred candidate is a motivated team member who can work with members of the marketing team to drive innovation, data-driven decisions, and digital marketing initiatives. This position will report to the Marketing Manager and be an integral part of promoting the Iowa Events Center as a destination for meetings and events while working with promoters to drive ticket sales and attendance for Casey's Center events.

This role pays an hourly rate of $21.60-$22.60

For Full-Time roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).

This position will remain open until July 10th, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing programs across all social media platforms for Iowa Events Center and Casey's Center brands (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc)
  • Understand and analyze engagement and sales data with the purpose of implementing tactics to grow metrics for existing and new platforms.
  • Research customer engagement trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Ad Sales, Premium Seating, Marketing and Sales departments on their revenue and engagement initiatives to maximize ROI for the Iowa Events Center.
  • Create and support content calendars to support upcoming events, venue projects, and community engagement.
  • Support innovation regarding the Iowa Evens Center's digital marketing strategy, inclusive of social media, podcasts, database marketing, video, and website presence.
  • Assist with event day activities, providing real-time content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Produce content for social media channels, including video, photography, graphics and text.
  • Maintain adherence to facility branding guidelines in all activities in verbal and written communications and graphics.
  • Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions for upcoming events and projects.
  • Assist our Database Marketing Coordinator with email and text marketing initiatives.
  • Answer customer service questions that come into our platforms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Business Administration or another related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing, preferably with a concert venue or sports arena or other hospitality related position preferred.
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising/sponsorship program development.
  • Strong understanding of social media, web-based advertising, CRM, and website maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, graphic design, PowerPoint and Internet software.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate creative and original promotional ideas.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills, and demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays and extended numbers of days.
