Group Summary:

Job Responsibilities:
Work within the Factory of the Future/ Industry 4.0 team to support the digitalization strategy for the Division. This individual will be responsible for managing the network of systems from Operational Technology to cloud technology in conjunction with developing and implementing digitalization initiatives s. This role will also be responsible for the digitalization of production lines and on-premises infrastructure.
Your responsibilities
  • Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructure.
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes.
  • Create IoT applications that run on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Support creation of technical guidelines, standards and templates for digitalization projects to be scaled.
  • Apply knowledge of Operational Technology, Industrial Control Systems, Internet of Things, Industrial Internet of Things, MES, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition principles to evolve current architectures that are efficient and meet business needs.
  • Interface with corporate and support divisions to implement digitalization projects.
  • Receive and provide training to divisional teams related to digitalization.
  • Develop KPIs, metrics, and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environments
  • Familiar with source control tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
  • Familiar with cloud architecture.
  • Ability to write code to interact with UNS services.
  • Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, external services and internal resources required
  • Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production.

Who we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems technology, Computer Science or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Preferred five (5) years of related IT work experience including a minimum of three (3) years of IT support experience in a JIT automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with PLC programming in Siemens and Rockwell controllers among others.
  • Familiar with Robot programming (such as Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, and/or Motoman) is a plus.
  • Familiar with Ignition SCADA software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industrial IoT sensor connectivity, data acquisition and data historian software
  • Knowledge of different project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
