5+ years' experience working with and tuning high volume mobile applications
Job Description:
We are looking for an iOS Developer to help us build awesome iOS apps that integrate with our services platform. The iOS Developer for the Mobile Team will report to the Director of Mobile. The Mobile group is responsible for application architecture, development and innovation of new feature development to support consumer mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in iOS design and development, with one or more apps in the Apple iTunes AppStore.
An iOS Developer will work closely with the technical lead, architect, systems analysts and product managers in coding out the stories for features and enhancements.
This person is also responsible addressing bugs reported.
Essential Functions:
• Adhere to coding standards and styles defined. Ensure development environment is up to standard.
• Complete all stories in a timely manner and document all updates in the appropriate systems (eg. Mingle, JIRA).
• Work with QA team in analyzing and resolving production issues and defects.
• Work with Release Engineering team in app deployment activities
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of working experience of Objective-C, XCode, UIKit and Interface Builder.
• An Object Oriented philosopher with experience understanding and applying OO design patterns.
• Experience working with and tuning high volume mobile applications
• Desire to work in a fast paced, agile, collaborative environment
• Ability to clearly write technical specifications and strong estimating and planning skills
• Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles.
• Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality, and within budget.
