Job description

The Customer Service & Logistics Specialist provides administrative support for the Customer Service and Inventory Control functions. This position assists with customer order processing, invoicing, customer portal management, shipping documentation, inventory transactions, and other administrative activities that ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely product delivery. The role works closely with internal departments, customers, and carriers to support daily business operations while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Support Customer Service with order entry and order maintenance.
  • Assist with customer invoicing and documentation.
  • Maintain customer web portals and upload required shipping and order information.
  • Prepare and distribute shipping documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Support inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Assist with shipping confirmations and customer communications.
  • Maintain shipping and customer records.
  • Coordinate documentation with transportation providers.
  • Support customs or export documentation when applicable.
  • Monitor customer requests and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and order issues.
  • Generate reports related to customer orders, shipments, and inventory.
  • Maintain filing systems and required business records.
  • Cross-train in both Customer Service and Inventory Control activities to provide backup coverage.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE:
  • Two or more years of experience in customer service, logistics, shipping, inventory control, or administrative support.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
