Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking aParts Managerto receive inventory, control inventory, issue parts, maintain PO tracker system, send out shipments, warranty parts forms, maintain vendor relations and perform other duties as assigned. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Placing orders. 
  • Data entry of repair orders. 
  • Resolving purchase order and invoice discrepancies. 
  • Assisting with completing the end of the month reports. 
Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Driver's license. 
  • Ability to read and write English. 
  • Bus parts experience preferred. 
  • Must have experience with purchasing and inventory control, not sales only 
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. 
  • Detail oriented and organizational skills. 
  • Data entry experience. 
  • Ability to effectively evaluate vendors. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Computer literate with experience in Excel. 
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work alone and able to perform without constant or immediate supervision. 
  • Must be able to properly prioritize, implement and manage work schedules, projects and assignments. 
  • Must have computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and Microsoft outlook. 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in written and oral formats. 
  • Must display initiative, professionalism, candor and tact at all times. 
  • Required to complete all related documents legibly and in a timely manner. 
  • Must be willing to take training courses as needed. 
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule. 
  • Ability to work well with others.
