Position

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for leading the analysis, preparation, and delivery of consolidated financial reports for clients of Rockefeller Global Family Office. This individual will manage a team of four financial reporting professionals while maintaining direct involvement in complex client reporting, financial analysis, and special projects. This role will serve as a key leader within Rockefeller Private Office, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and exceptional service delivery while fostering team development and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Financial Reporting professionals, providing coaching, performance management, training, and career development support.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, consolidated financial reports, and ad hoc analytical reporting for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all client deliverables.
  • Manage team workload, priorities, and resource allocation to ensure service levels and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Remain actively involved in the preparation and review of complex client financial reports and analyses.
  • Gather, analyze, and reconcile client financial information across multiple investment institutions, including alternative investments, fixed income securities, cash flow reporting, budgets, and income reporting.
  • Partner closely with Wealth Planning, Client Advisors, and other stakeholders to address client reporting needs and deliver actionable financial insights.
  • Drive process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and best practices across reporting systems and workflows.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on client reporting methodologies, financial reporting standards, and reporting technology platforms.
  • Act as the final reviewer and escalation point for complex reporting issues and client inquiries.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and special projects to enhance the reporting function and overall client experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant accounting, financial reporting, or family office experience.
  • Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring financial professionals.
  • Strong understanding of investment assets and related reporting, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and partnership investments.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a client service-oriented environment.
  • Experience with fixed income and alternative investments strongly preferred.
Skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Strong accounting, financial reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); proficiency with financial reporting and accounting systems.
