Your Team's Impact

The Real-Time Program Management team is seeking to hire a Principal Program Manager to be the lead of a cross-functional team delivering a program of work across several Data Solutions Product and Engineering teams. FactSet's Real-Time Market Data Solutions power global finance, providing critical information to help market participants understand and power their Real-Time workflows.

What You'll Do

As the Principal Program Manager for the Real-Time area, you will be responsible forthe planning and execution of a highly visible program of work, acting as the strategic bridge between business goals and technical delivery.This role is bothinternal and external facing, responsible for end-to-end program ownership, stakeholder management, and delivery excellence across global teams.

You are a strong communicator and relationship builder who can naturally engage with clients, executives, and cross-functional partners while managing complex programs involvingreal-time data, cloud platforms, and financial systems.The role will report to the US-based Director of Program Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the entire Real-Time Market Data investment program throughout all phases of the SDLC.
  • Lead and mentor Project Managers working under the program.
  • Act as the primaryclient-facing and stakeholder-facing leader from the PMO, building trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Creates project plans cooperatively with the engineering and product development stakeholders.
  • Establishes and consistently maintains a productive environment for successful cross-functional collaboration.
  • Effective, self-starter in managing key project management areas such as, requirements gathering and articulation, quality measures, scope management, time management, cost management, risk management, quality management, communications management and stakeholder management.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, evaluate business benefits/costs and drive business meaningful outcomes for the organization.
  • Effectively manage project and team budgets across capex and opex to support Real-Time TCO.
  • Clearly communicate project execution plan and development status with key stakeholders in a visible and consistent fashion.
  • Collaborate with peer organizations within the PMO to establish joint roadmaps for overlapping areas of responsibility.
  • Establish transparent, consistent, low bureaucracy and repeatable project management best practices for engineering and product development resources.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in project, program or portfolio management.
  • 10+ years working directly with engineers.
  • 10+ years working directly with product development, senior stakeholders and clients.
  • PMP, PgMP, SAFecertifications or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leadinglarge, complex programsinvolving real-time market data processing.
  • Strong background incloud platforms(prefer AWS) and financial management of technology programs.
  • Experience managingglobal, remote teamsacross multiple time zones with direct and indirect influence.
  • Intermediate knowledge of financially traded instruments.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders/colleagues directly and indirectly.
  • Practitioner of Servant-Leadership.
  • Desire for on-going challenges and interest in continuously learning about new business practices, technologies and financial instruments.
  • Demonstrated, strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to translate technical features into business benefits.

The budgeted salary amount range for this position in NYC and the State of Connecticut is $160K- $200K
