The Opportunity
As an Investments Operations Analyst on the Alternative Investments Product team, you'll support a growing range of offerings, such as private placements, interval funds, and tax-efficient strategies. You will support a dedicated alternatives-focused team at the home office.
The Team
The Alternative and Structured Investment team's mission is to empower advisor practices, agencies, and MassMutual to excel in the high-net-worth space by offering open architecture solutions and expertise. We are dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals to grow and transition their wealth through informed investing.
The Impact:
As an Investment Operations Analyst, you will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including internal operations, legal, compliance, external venders, fintech platforms, and financial advisors on a comprehensive range of offerings.
Key responsibilities:
  • Gain proficiency in operational platforms and subscription processes across products.
  • Resolve account opening, maintenance, and client onboarding/service issues.
  • Assist with quarterly compliance reviews of marketing materials.
  • Support the annual RFI process.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and business research.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports and invoices.
  • Update Intranet Site and educational materials.
  • Provide timely, accurate responses to Financial Advisors and their assistants.

The Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in operations or project management in the financial services industry
  • Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA

The Ideal Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-net-worth client management and familiarity with the Financial Advisor operating model.
  • Working knowledge of alternative investment funds and related operational terms is advantageous.
  • Superior interpersonal abilities with a strong commitment to problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to cultivate effective working relationships with colleagues, teams, and clients.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Highly self-motivated and receptive to coaching.
  • Assumes full ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
  • Possesses a strategic mindset and excels in cross-functional, collaborative environments.
  • Experience in Alternative Investments.
  • Thorough knowledge of FINRA/SEC rules and regulations.
  • Possession of Series 7 and 63 licenses at the time of application

Salary Range:
$67,400-$88,400
