Job description

Fast growing, international insurance company seeks an investment professional to support portfolio strategy, forecasting, and investment analytics for a large institutional investment platform. This role partners closely with investment, finance, treasury, actuarial, and corporate strategy teams to deliver data-driven insights that support asset allocation, long-term planning, and strategic decision-making.



This is a mostly remote role, in office in NYC only a few times per month and for specific meetings


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance investment forecasting models covering portfolio returns, income, cash flows, and long-term outlooks.
  • Support asset allocation by analyzing market trends, portfolio positioning, risk metrics, and investment opportunities across multiple asset classes.
  • Build and maintain quantitative models used for investment planning, scenario analysis, valuation, and transaction support.
  • Analyze portfolio performance, identify key return drivers, and prepare reporting and presentations for senior leadership and investment committees.
  • Improve analytical processes through automation, data modeling, and technology-driven solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Treasury, Actuarial, Capital Management, Accounting, and Risk to support enterprise-wide investment initiatives.
  • Maintain investment dashboards, reporting tools, and portfolio analytics while ensuring data quality

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in investment analytics, portfolio management, asset allocation, investment strategy, or quantitative finance.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, portfolio construction, fixed income, investment risk, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience working with large datasets and developing forecasting or optimization models.
  • Proficiency with Python, SQL, VBA, or similar analytical tools; experience with Power BI or other visualization platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses to executive leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.



Salary 150-170k base DOE plus excellent benefits and competitive bonus potential
