Occupational Summary

Classification established for any non-Duke student paid at an hourly rate. This includes high school students, visiting undergraduate students, and hourly visiting graduate students. The incumbent will perform various duties as assigned by the department. Incumbents are compensated at varying rates of pay based upon the work being performed and according to the pay schedule developed and maintained for each department. Incumbents must be paid at least minimum wage.

This position is for the CTSI-funded pilot project entitled "Prematch360 Analyst: AI-Enabled Feasibility to Reduce Screen Failures in Clinical Trials". The intern's role will be to assist with structured data abstraction, data entry, and documentation under supervision of the investigative team. This role will support efficient data collection from operational systems and expert review materials while providing valuable training for the intern in clinical research operations and data management.
