Job description

Performs a variety of tasks associated with distribution of supplies and equipment to requesting departments. Responsible for inventory management of par carts on units to ensure adequate supplies are available. Responsible for ensuring item numbers are utilized on all products used throughout the facility, both stock and non-stock. Provides clerical support and has basic knowledge of computer skills are required.
Essential Functions
  • Maintain PAR levels on all nursing areas to stock and cleanliness
  • Reports any issues with order to the purchasing department. (i.e. shortages, overages, breakage)
  • Places all stock items either on shelf in proper location, with chargeable items being put in the pre-tag area.
  • Delivers all special order items obtaining signature for products delivered.
  • Is present at assigned workstation as scheduled. Needs no start up time, is ready to work immediately.
  • Uses time efficiently. Does not waste time with functions unrelated to work duties.
  • Receiving for hospital supplies, crash cart, maintaining within defined policy.
